ABOUT US
Glasgow Labour, Employment and Work (GLEW) is an interdisciplinary network based at the University of Glasgow, bringing together academics from across the university—particularly within the College of Social Sciences—as well as external partners including third sector groups and individuals. Focused on research, policy, and activism in the broad field of work and employment, GLEW fosters collaboration across disciplines and actively engages with local communities and wider networks to explore and address issues relating to work and work relations.
Over the past two years, GLEW has held a series of research events including work-in- progress presentations and seminars with invited speakers. It now plans a one-day event involving researchers and their external partners: trade unions, think tanks, charities, NGOs and so on.
